Easy Fiction and Fiction

The fiction collection is divided into easy fiction and fiction in order to assist younger students in locating books at appropriate reading levels. The center has a wide assortment of fiction titles including picture books, early chapter books, and chapter series.

Nonfiction

The nonfiction section consists of hundreds of titles of factual books aligned with the elementary curriculum. The books are organized by subject and arranged using the Dewey Decimal System. The section includes a vast range of topics including animals, plants, dinosaurs, the United States, geography, world cultures, holidays, customs, inventions, science and technology, and many other subjects.

Reference and Professional

The reference area includes a variety of materials for both students and teachers. These materials can be used in the media center or in the classrooms. Reference materials include dictionaries, encyclopedias, atlases, almanacs, maps, globes, etc.
